Hu Jintao, in the17th NPC conference, put forward that:“scientific development concept, the essence is development，the coreis people-oriented, the basic requirements is coordinated andsustainable development, the fundamental approach is integratedtheory,.” Integrated theory, as a fundamental scientific concept ofdevelopment, is the methodological principles with Chinesecharacteristics of our party that gradually formed and perfected in theprocess of Chinese revolution and construction, however, it’s not onlymethodological characteristics, but also has the distinctive features ofthe value, for it researches on the contradictory relationship betweenpeople and nature, people and society, people and people in thesociety practice, which is often overlooked by scholars. In the past,most of the scholars analyze integrated theory only from themethodological principles, comprehensive, systematic, dialecticalanalysis of the meaning, essence, and achieved gratifying results, butthey all neglected the value analysis contained, and rarely rose to theheight of philosophy, then it hardly reflect the real value of theintegrated methodology.This paper argues that the methodology reflects a set of valuesof our party in the practice of Chinese revolution and socialistconstruction. From the point of value target,the integrated theoryembodied in realizing economic, political, cultural, social andecological comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable developmentin the socialist modernization, and ultimately achieving People’s freeand overall development.From the point of value scale, integratedtheory reflects the basis of dealing with complex relationship between interests of the various aspects in the course of society practice, andultimately achieving the unity of the human scale and the materialscale,truth principle and value principle; from the point of valuechoice,integrated theory reflects the unity of individual andcollective, present and long-term, local and overall, key and non-key，in the final analysis, in order to achieve the fundamental interests ofthe overwhelming majority of the people as the fundamental startingpoint.This paper try to apply the dialectical thinking to analyze thevalue contained in the integrated methodology, it’s not only embodiesthe unity of methodology and value theory, but also the unity of truthand value. In the practice of socialist construction, we shouldunderstand and apply integrated methodology with dialecticalthinking and value thinking, so it can truly express the characteristicsof integrated theory, coordinate the interests of all parties to promotea comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development ofeconomy, politics, culture, society and ecology, and ultimately realizethe liberation of mankind.Of course, with the development of practice, the integratedmethodology will continue to be perfected, and the value inherent inthe integrated methodology will be more in-depthunderstanding.This article is only from a different angle to analyzethe value contained in the current integrated theory, which is aimed atdoing some exploratory work for the development and application ofthis theory.
