The Issues Of Historical Materialism

People’s livelihood problem is the key problem that relatedto the social stability.Study on the historical materialismfoundation to People’s livelihood problem is not only necessaryfor solving it, but also an inevitable requirement for socialsustainable development. In theory, historical materialism whichscientifically explained the origins, evolutions, solutions and themain body of the people’s livelihood problem issues with thepeople’s livelihood problem.In historical practice， TheCommunist Party of China’s project on the Construction to thepeople’s livelihood has formed a history of the thought ofpeople’s livelihood in historical materialism.The history hasproved the feasibility and inevitability of the application ofhistorical materialism to the people’s livelihood problem now.After the reform and opening-up,China continues toboom.However,there still exists some prominent problems inpeople’s livelihood, including employment, housing,socialsecurity,income distribution, education, health and so on that arerelated to the vital interests of people.In short,China still faces adifficult task in the current construction of people’slivelihood.So we should pay attention to the application ofhistorical materialism which requires us to work on the origin ofthe people’s livelihood problem,enhance the intensity of practiceon solving people’s livelihood problems and environmentalconstruction and insist on the main body position of people,inorder to build a people’s livelihood environment with comprehensive development and high quality.This paper is committed to prove that historical materialismissues with the people’s livelihood problem in double angle ofthe theoretical and historical practice.It applys the methodcombining the interpretation of the text and logical thinking tostudy on the historical materialism foundation of the people’slivelihood problem deeply. Moreover,it bases on the reality ofthe people’s livelihood in China,suggesting that we shouldproceed with needs,social practice,social relations and thepeople, for the great union in theory and practice.The thesis is divided into five parts:The introduction part:The paper states the background andsignificance of studying on the historical materialism foundationof the People’s livelihood problem.Also,in this part itsummarizes the research on this subject nowadays inChina,pointing out the essences and disadvantages.Moreover,itlists the innovations and methods of the paper.The chapter1:The paper summarizes the theory of people’slivelihood and illustrates the content,character and significanceof the people’s livelihood problem,providing a theoreticalpremise for studying the subject and a direction for applying thestudy to solve problems.The chapter2:The paper researches on the meeting pointbetween historical materialism and the people’s livelihoodproblem in-depth.Basing on the analysis of works fromMarx,Engels and other predecessors,this part comprehensivelyexpounds the historical materialism foundation of the People’s livelihood problem,demonstrating the theoretical basis on usinghistorical materialism to solve the people’s livelihood problem.The chapter3:The paper summarizes the people’slivelihood ideology and practice achievement of the ChineseCommunist Party under the application of historicalmaterialism.Also this chapter sums up the successful experienceabout using historical materialism to solve the problems ofpeople’s livelihood of China,which makes sure the inevitabilityand feasibility to apply historical materialism on solving theproblems of people’s livelihood now.The chapter4:This paper bases on the analysis of presentpeople’s livelihood’s situation in China,suggesting that we startfrom needs,social practice,social relations and the people inhistorical materialism,in order to solve the problems.
