A Research On Contemporary Chinese Marxism Aesthetic Thoughts In The Horizon Of Harmonious Society

With further advance of the reform and opening up and large-scale development ofeconomic globalization, the Fourth Plenum of the16th CPC put forward the goal of building asocialism harmonious society. The fundamental spirit of conference is harmony. This socialideal was put forward based on the Marxism esthetic thoughts. The building of a harmonioussociety, namely completing the harmony of man and nature, people and society to ultimatelyachieve the comprehensive development of people,is not only the most important task, butalso the most difficult task of current China. Because the nature of the Marxism aestheticthoughts is the aspiration for beauty of harmony, the Marxism aesthetic thoughts can guide usto achieve this vision. With the introduction of Marxism aesthetic thoughts and westernAesthetics into China, especially after the founding of New China, China Marxism aestheticthoughts gradually came into formation on the basis of classical Chinese aesthetic thoughts,and essence of Marxism aesthetics and Western classical beauty in the process of socialconstruction. Moreover,theoretical bases and basic content of contemporary China Marxism aesthetic thoughts arefurther discussed.
