A Study On The Thoughts Of Harmonious Society And Contemporary Values Of On The Ten Major Relations

On the Ten Major Relations, which published in1956, is linked with the backgroundof that time closely. In his work, Mao creatively put forward ten contradictory relationsalong with solutions in the construction of socialist modernization in China. On the TenMajor Relations contains a lot of creative ideas and contents with abundant thoughts ofthe harmonious society. These thoughts are important not only for the socialistconstruction at that time, but also for the construction of harmonious society in the moderntime. In the Eighteenth Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee onNovember,8,2012, the communist party of China enriched the contents of theharmonious society. In today’s perspective, On The Ten Major Relations is worthy of ourreconsideration, for it still has important reference and significance to the building of aharmonious and well-off society.This paper is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, the significance of thisthesis, the domestic and foreign research background and the research method aresummarized and explained. In the second chapter, the domestic and foreign backgroundinformation, the principles, the basic spirit and the influences of On The Ten MajorRelations at that time are concluded. In the third chapter, the connotations and thesolutions of constructing the harmonious society are briefly summarized. What is more,the thoughts of the harmonious society contained in On The Ten Major Relations areanalyzed from the economic and political aspects. Finally, the theoretical significance andpractical values of On The Ten Major Relations to the construction of harmonious societyare summarized.After reading and reviewing On The Ten Major Relations, this paper strives tosummarize the thoughts of harmonious society in On The Ten Major Relations andcombine the thoughts of harmonious society with the social problems at the presentsociety. Furthermore, the important influence of On The Ten Major Relations on thethoughts of harmonious society in the contemporary society are concluded. As a result,this paper seeks to make contributions from the aspects of the theoretical and the practice, and summarize the contemporary values to the construction of the socialist harmonioussociety.
