Yanan Period Communist Party Of China Local Government Image And Its Realistic Signficance

Yan’an period is a very important period for the Communist Party of Chinain history. During this period, the Communist Party of China implements thelocal governing, because the revolutionary forces become increasingly strongand the revolutionary cause achieve to success step by step. The CommunistParty of China, during the local governing, serves the people wholeheartedly,and unites all the anti-Japanese forces. At that time, the governmentsdominate democratic politics in the Yan’an area, in which policies aresobriety; law and order are strict; the economy is prosperity; and socialatmosphere is pure. Therefore, it becomes a banner of comprehensiveanti-Japanese, which is the "hot" and "the Holy Land" for the progressivepeople. Objectively, it forms a good image of local governing of the Partyand the local government is supported and praised by the most of the peopleat home and abroad, especially at Yan’an area, which is the solid foundationfor the transition from local governing to complete governing administratedby the Party.This article analyzed the process of shaping the image of local governingcomprehensively and deeply, from the multi-disciplinary research perspective of history, communication, public relation. The author believes that, duringthe Yan’an period, the Party based on the own construction of the Party andpay attention to applying various ways of propaganda, in order to enlarge theinfluence of the government and form the images of serving the peoplewholeheartedly, emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts,self-reliance, hard work, thrifty and selfless. The Party also makes thepurpose of the Party to run through the local governing process, which basedon the practice of the Chinese revolution. Thus, it shaped the good image oflocal governing; enhanced the appeal; and expanded the influence of theParty at home and abroad.Through analysis of the shaping the image of the local governing by theCommunist Party of China during Yan’an period, the author conclude thatthere are three key roles for enhancing the governing image, which arevigorous, supporting by the people, and the mass media propaganda. Theseexperiences have important practical significance for the Party to shaping theimage and enhancing the ability to govern the country.
