About The Research On The Enhancement Of Peasants’ Ideological And Political Work

Ideological and political education of peasants, as the lifeline to the ruraleconomics and other domain, is one vital component of CPC’s ideological andpolitical work. It concerns every aspects of the village construction, is not only atheoretical problem, but also a practical issue. The ideological and political work topeasants has already made great progress. However, during the socialistmodernization period, some new problem has come up, and how to improve theideological and political education become one of the most important issuesconfronting to our party and government. At present time, the research to ideologicaland political education taking peasants as the independent subject is not very much.Under this circumstances, the paper attempts to do some research on the problemsappeared in peasants ideological and political work aiming to improve the relevantwork. The paper firstly presents the purpose and value of enhancement of thepeasants’ ideological and political work from the perspective of the economic,political, cultural and social construction. Based on the abundant researching data, itillustrates the research theoretical support form Chinese cultural, western culture andMarxism. Meanwhile, the paper is also based on some pragmatic study. The authorhas done some questionnaire research in Yinan, Shandong Province. Through theanalysis of questionnaire results and some discussion with the cadres and people, itreveals the problems in peasants’ ideological and political work practically andvisually. Such is the paper’s high lights and innovative points. Through the studyabove and the village and peasants practice, it put forwards the some countermeasuresto the improvement of peasants’ ideological and political work from the perspectiveof peasants subject, peasants’ self-study and working mechanism respestively. What’more, these countermeasures will add a strong thrust to the peasants’ideological andpolitical work in the new times.
