Relationship Construction Of The Communist Party Of China And The Masses In The New Period

Party-masses relationship problem has always been an important problem in theparty’s construction, which is the fundamental political problem of the party’s prosperityand the party’s survival. Since the foundation of the Communist Party of China, it hasalways attached great importance to the relationship between the party and the masses. Inthe new historical conditions, national conditions, our party’s situation and the socialsituation also changed extensively with deepening of the opening and reform. Sorelationship between the party and the masses is facing new challenge. Through historicalanalysis, literature research and practice method, the relationship between the party andthe masses in the new period is discussed in this essay, which is beneficial to a moreprofound understanding of the importance of close Party-masses relationship. In addition,my research contributes to the complement and development of Marxism and theParty-masses relationship theory system. What’s more, good relationship consolidates theparty’s ruling position and improves the party’s ruling ability. As to the aspect ofpreventing the interests of the masses, easing social contradictions, and close relationshipbetween the party and the masses, my essay has certain positive role.This paper first analyzes the relationship between the party and the masses from theangles of connotation and essence, and summarizes the contribution of the classicMarxists such as Marx, Engels, Lenin, and the CPC’s several generations of leader in thearea of relations between the party and the masses theory, which is the basic theory for thestudy. Next, it analyzes the importance of close Party-masses relationship in the newperiod. And then, it puts forward the problems of Party-masses relationships, whichincludes the difficulty of guaranteeing the interests of the people, the relative decline ofthe party’s centripetal force, the sharp benefit contradictions between party and the masses,deepening ideological estrangement, and the complex contradictions between the partyand the masses, etc. And further more, the reasons are analyzed from the angle of economy,politics and social factors; Finally, this paper presents five methods to strengthen therelationship between the party and the masses in the new period, such as insisting on the guiding ideology of our party’s theory, developing the economic foundation, strengtheningthe party’s construction, improving the system construction and trying the best to do themass work.
