As we all know, the power of everyone’s life is to purse happiness, which is an unquestionable truth. The happiness is extremely importantin everyone’s life, it is not only the ultimate goal of human life, but also the significance of human life. So, in a sense, the wholehistory of human is the history of pursing happiness. However, theconcept of happiness is a everlasting ethical problem that alwaysplagued the ancient and modern thinkers. Not only that, in thetraditional concept of happiness, we can see that the traditionalconcept of happiness not only did not bring happiness to the people, but to make people more confused to happiness. The reason is that thetraditional concept of happiness did not solve the contradictionsbetween the theory of happiness and the real life, the personalhappiness and the social happiness. However, by investigating thespectrum of traditional happiness, the development path of Marx’sconcept of happiness and its real meaning, we can see that Marx’sconcept of happiness not only fundamentally solve the contradictionsthat make people more confused to happiness. but also provides peoplewith an effective way to realize the real happiness, which is thereason that we explore Marx’s concept of happiness on the height ofphilosophy. There is no denying that Marx’s concept of happiness is based onunderstanding of predecessors’ concept of happiness and critically inheritancethem. However, Marx’s concept of happiness achieves revolutionary change, heput the principle of life-world and the principle of practice into the areas ofhappiness, brings people’s happiness back to earth from heaven: First, Marx’sconcept of happiness is no longer a pure sense of happiness, but one based on therealistic life world that puring for the reality of people’s happiness. Second,Marx’s so-called reality happiness is not a pure theoretical sense ofontology-commitment, but the one that is realized only through the revolutionarypractice of criticizing the old world and creating a new world, which is the realitythe movement of abolishing the existing conditions to achieve real happiness.Third, the ideal form of society where Marx’s concept of happiness is realized is acommunist society. only in communist society, people can achieve thecomprehensive development and fully realize people’s real happy; only incommunist society,"the free development of everyone is condition of all thepeople’s free ", personal happiness and social happiness are unified. So, Marx’sconcept of happiness is a scientific happiness, it has unique revolutionary, criticaland scientific. In addition, in this materialistic and indifference society, Marx’sconcept of happiness plays an extremely important role in educating and guidingpeople’s values and goals in life.
