As the cornerstone of Marx’s economic theory, wage theory wasoriginally researched by Marx as a tool for revealing the internal relationbetween essential stipulations of wage and the production relation ofcapitalist exploitation. Starting from the viewpoint of the discipline ofcommodity economy, we will find, however, that Marxist Theory ofWage has not only specific historical values, but also profound PracticalSignificance. Accordingly, this dissertation lays out Marx understandingof the essential of wage theory while hackling the profound connotationof Marxist Theory of Wage. In this process, we find the powerful vitalityas well as some misinterpretations of this theory. Based on our ownunderstanding of this theory, we hold that the theoretical conundrum ofwhether the essential of wage in China is labor can be perfectly solved bythis theory. By solving this problem, we can make a proper judgment onits operating principles, through which the direction of wage operation can be grasped theoretically. On the practical level, many problems existin the operation process of wage; these problems have negative influenceon social economics. Marxist Theory of Wage may enlighten thegovernment in primary distribution, perfecting distinct wage policy andwage rise system as well as guarantee mechanisms of wage paying. Thetheory can solve the existing problems and build a harmonious wageoperation system while increasing the proportion of labor payment. Thestudy on Marxist Theory of Wage has great significance boththeoretically and practically.
