China and Germany are the two great countries in Asia and Europe, although which are geographically far away from each other, the relationship of them has a long history, dating back to the early13th century of the Yuan Dynasty in China. Sino-German relations are in the development process of cooperation and hostility from the20th century. Sino-German relations in the1930s are the most representative. In short ten years, the relationship twists and turns, they both have cooperation and hostility and experience from good friends to breaking off diplomatic relations. This article is divided into two stages. The first stage:From1930to1937, Germany began to actively seek rapprochement and slowly restore friendly relations with China after the First World War. When Hitler came to power in1933, he developed further close relations with China based on the needs of raw materials, and Sino-German relations went into the top level; The second stage:From1938to1940,When the Anti-Japanese War broke out, China and Japan would be in conflict. Germany allied with Japan, which had acknowledged "the Puppet Manchuria Regime" and "Puppet Regime" and gave up relations with China, China was forced to break off with Germany. I will discuss the performance of Sino-German relations and analyze the reasons for the changes of the relationship in these two stages. I finally explain the inspiration drawn from the changing of Sino-German relations, which provides learning and experience to China. So that we can deal with diplomatic relations better in modern times.
