Research For Political Thought Transformation Of Yun Daiying In1919

Yun Daiying (1895-1931),who was a proletarian revolutionist of China, was one of the leaders of Communist Party of Chinese early youth movement. Yun Daiying did not only play as an important role in the New Culture Movement, and also as a excellent representative of advanced intellectuals in the May Fourth Movement. He influenced a group of hot-blooded youngsters at the lower-middle reaches of Changjiang River. The May Fourth Movement in1919was the boundary between the old democratic revolution and the new democratic revolution in China, and also was the pivotal period of Yun Daiying’s political thought transformation. During this period, Yun Daiying rationally chose a variety of socialist and doctrine, he began to shift from democrat to Marxist.This article intends to solve three problems:The first one, Yun Daiying recognized the changes in the power of reforming society. Before the May Fourth Movement, He thought students were the main strength to transform the society, so he formed associations, and leaded students to hold patriotic movement. After the May Fourth Movement, Yun Daiying recognized that the main power of reforming society did not come from students, but from workers and peasants who had great revolutionary power. The second one, Yun Daiying’s thought of reforming society has changed. Before the May Fourth Movement, He has been holding the idea of established high-minded morality to save the country, and he advocated to transform the society by ethical principles. After the May Fourth Movement, with the spread of Marxism, he gradually realized that only completely changing the economic and political systems could transform the society. The Third one, the model of reforming society has changed, by the Village and Work-study model turned to revolutionary model.This article insists the historical materialism of Marxist and intellectual history as the research method. By using Yun Daiying’s diary and corpus and related works,which were collated by futurity as a material basis. This articles strive to conduct a comprehensive and accurate analysis of Yun Daiying’s political thoughts in1919to deepen the research of Yun Daiying’s early thought.
