| Yun Daiying is a famous revolutionist and youth movement leader in modern times of China.He made great contributions to new democratic revolution and even sacrificed in his young age.Moreover,he is an excellent theorist and educator.In his life,he wrote a lot and people were encouraged by the spirit reflected in his works.Yun Daiying devoted all his life to education and put up the ideology of citizenship education after he became a firm Marxist.Yun Daiying’s researches and practices on ideology of citizenship education are quite innovative and groundbreaking.He not only contributed a lot to citizenship education and it became integrated citizenship education ideology but also practiced his theory by himself and accumulated abundant experience of citizenship education.In modern age,strengthening citizenship education is inevitable requirement of every modern country for their self-improvement.With the advance of our country’s modern construction,citizenship education becomes the focus of our government.Meanwhile,citizenship education is similar to our special ideological and political education to some degree.With the globalization tide,our country has entered into a key period of development of social transformation.The youth university students compose the major part of our modern citizen,and their grow up and develop are not only related to the success of building socialism with Chinese characteristics,but also closely related to the prosperity of Chinese nation and the realization of the great China dream.Based on the principle of applying old theory to new practice,I researched on Yun Daiying’s theory of citizenship education to discover some modern value from the essence of his thought.This article was divided into three parts.The first part focuses on introducing the formation of Yun’s ideology of citizenship education which will then be divided into three parts.In late 19thcentury,Yun was born in a typical feudal family and received typical Chinese traditional education.Besides,he knew something with western cultural thoughts and was active in social activities and social practice.All these factors affect and contribute to the formation of Yun’s ideology of citizenship education.At the same time,Yun’s ideology of citizenship education’s development is demonstrated of four stages step by step from sprouting,practice to development and maturity.Then Yun’s ideology was actually formed.The second part in the round demonstrates the constitution of Yun Daiying’s ideology of citizenship education.From goal connotation,main content and realization,analysis,conclusion and summary are made.Thus,the systematic constitution of Yun’s ideology is found.The third part will critically evaluate and analyze the ideology’s historical value and conclude related modern enlightenment.This part will demonstrate in three aspects:the first part will talk back to history and affirm the historical influence of Yun’s ideology;The second part will focus on modern society and evaluate Yun’s ideology of citizenship education with two sides:one is unique perspective and the other is historic limitations;The third part will concentrate on modern ideological and political education in higher education and propose some optional important enlightenment. |
