China is in a period of social transition now, the way society being organized has beingshift. Under this background, more and more youth social organizations are booming quickly.In the national, there are a lot of youth-activities, and the main participants are collegestudents; some self-organizations rely on the network, SMS and other new media. Themanifestation mode of youth organizations is college student’s self-organization in university.The characteristics of them are youth trend of participants, the diversification trend of needs,the vibrant trend of activity, the nimble trend of mobilization mechanism. With thedevelopment of modern information technology and the extensive use of new media, thesecollege students’ self-organizations participate in the management of social affairs andprovide social services actively. They play an important role in the construction of safecampus and harmonious society.By surveying colleges and universities in Chongqing, the current development of collegestudents’ self-organization is various types, unique interests and needs, and the members givepriority to network and SMS as the channel of participating in self-organization. As the sametime, there are many problems such as a shortage of funds, the week potency dimension ofsocial support and so on. It is found that some self-organization finally disintegrate althoughin good situation, but some able to maintain long-term vitality. What’s the reason? In theenvironment of new media, the mobilization way of college students’ self-organizationschanges obviously. What is the connection with the occurrence of collective action? What arethe specific effects of self-organizations on the youth and society in the process of collectiveaction? They analyse the influence of college students’ self-organizations’ collective actionacts on social stability through specific case. Meanwhile, they must take measures to maintainsocial stability. And it is a issues is worth chewing over and researching.In recent years, the youth self-organization, which springs up in colleges and universities,is different from the traditional social organization. They communicate messages by network,so the environment of college students’ self-organizing system must be improved, the networkpublic opinion and network behaviour must be guided, and the network culture, networkmoral, network legislation must be strengthen. They are organized spontaneously,self-management, self-service, and away from the school management system, so that the collective action produces significant impact on campus stability and social stability.Therefore, the linkage mechanism of the youth self-organization, relevant departments of theuniversity, the Communist Youth League and the relevant government departments must beestablished. Due to these self-organization are not registered, fewer resources can be shared,legal rationality and social support is weak. It is necessary to implement nbspregister system,and provide services pertinently. Because of week organization and lack of managementmode, the college students’ self-organizations encounter many difficulties. Therefore themanagement model must be perfected. By constructing the new media communicationplatform, establishing professional service organizations, setting up self-organizing fund andwith part-time staff, the function of self-organization can play the function of serving thecommunity.Through a comprehensive perspective of political science, sociology, law andmanagement, she researches the impact of college students’ self-organizations acting on socialstability under the new media environment, and provide specific and feasible measures. Thereare conducive to play an active role in helping to maintain social stability and harmoniousdevelopment.
