Human rights are the product of social and historical progress. They arealso one of the hot issues of universal concern today. They are our commonvision and goals which are pursued by all mankind to share and realize humanrights. In the modern society, no matter theory or practice, they have newdevelopment. Marx and Engels’s human right theory is an important part ofMarxist theory, and it goes beyond the bourgeois view of human rights so that itcan achieve the free and comprehensive development of the goal. Scientificresearch of Marx and Engels’s theory of human rights has the great significance,which on the development of China’s human rights cause as well as to solvetoday’s international human rights issues. Based on the"Marx and Engels’shuman right theory"as the theme. It summed up the important enlightenmentby studying the formation of Marx and Engels’ human right theory and development as well as content. In order to build a harmonious world, it was oneof great significance to construction of the human rights system of socialismwith Chinese characteristics, and promotes international communications andcooperation in the field of human rights.This article consists of three parts: the first part, from the politicalconditions of Marx and Engels’s human right theory, economic conditions,ideological conditions three aspects summarizes the social conditions of Marxand Engels’ human right theory and forming process. The second part, elaborateson the content of the human rights theory by Marx and Engels, from Marx andEngels early rational criticism of rights, historical materialism of Marx andEngels’s view, Marx and Engels on the analysis and criticism of the bourgeoishuman rights as well as the ultimate goal of Marx and Engels thought of humanrights--Achieve human emancipation. In terms of these aspects to analyzed anddiscussed Marx and Engels’s human rights theory, profound analysis of theconnotation of Marx and Engels theory of human rights. The third part, from therespect and safeguard human rights, the people-oriented human rightsconstruction of socialism with Chinese characteristics system, strengthen international communications and cooperation in the field of human rights inorder to build a harmonious world. It expounded the important enlightenment ofMarx and Engels’ human right theory.
