The Development Of The Network And The Research To The Construction Of Socialist Ideology

With the extensive application of IT, the network has penetrated into all spheres of social life and production, which impacts on people’s thinking extensively and profoundly. In recent years, the CPC Central Committee has repeatedly stressed the importance of networks in the ideological construction. Following on the press, radio and television, the network is called "the fourth media". It has incomparable advantages of the traditional media, such as a large number of audiences, a wide affecting range, and the strong contact interaction, and so on, which provides a new environment for promoting socialist ideology construction. Of course, the network is a "double-edged sword, adverse information and the negative impact of the network have a tremendous influence on the socialist ideology. Currently, it has made considerable progress using the Internet to promote the ideological construction. However, there are still some shortcomings in the construction of network position, network media control, on-line ideological and political work as well as network ideology safety. In the networking wave, it is the key issue of China’s ideological construction that how to avoid weaknesses and adhere to and even expand the network position of the socialist ideology which makes Marxism as the leading factor.It begins with the function characteristics of network in this paper. Firstly, analyze dialectically the impact the network on the construction of socialist ideology. Secondly, examine practically many realistically problems of the ideological construction of China under the current network situation and further put forward principle requirements. Finally, pointing at the problem and according to the principle, put forward five major strategies for the construction of socialist ideology in strengthening Marxism-line position, using the network to promote the process of popularization of Marxism, enhancing the effectiveness of online ideological and political education, scientifically controlling the public opinion on Internet, and enhancing network technology and legislation management. The study of the strategy is the key issue in this article. Should be noted is that, on the basis of the dialectical analysis for impact, both positive and negative, the network on socialist ideology, and considering the new era, the problems less concerned in academia are discussed in this paper. For example, five practical problems faced by China’s ideological construction are stated and the principle requirements are raised in the new network environment, which is one of the highlights of this article. Meanwhile, there is less research on combing the network development and Marxism popularization currently. Considered the innovation point of view, this article takes this as an important research. And combined with the new development of contemporary socialist ideology, countermeasures using the network to promote the process of popularization of Marxism are further explored. It will enrich and improve the construction of socialist ideology in the new network environment.If any kind of ideology wants to maintain vitality, it need seize the pulse of the times. We should actively adapt to this new network environment of the ideological construction with pioneering attitude and control it for our use in reasonable way, which is the essence requirement to strengthen the construction of socialist ideology in the new realistically condition.
