Job evaluation work of the institutions is still in its infancy, the job evaluation ofuniversity teachers is a systematic project, which is Complexity and multi-objective.University teachers job assessment face complex internal and external environment. Theeffectiveness of the assessment is affected by macro and micro factors.Modern human resources theory emphasizes the development and cultivation oftalents;The job evaluation is the focus of performance evaluation,and fundamentalpurpose of the job evaluation is to promote the growth of talent and improveperformance. Contemporary teacher performance appraisal theory emphasizes theteacher performance appraisal with complex and multilevel nature, and the assessmentmust have a wide range of indicators.From the actual situation of Chongqing university teacher’s job evaluation, theexisting assessment policies and specific measures are more extensive and monotonous,there is no more scientific evaluation system, and the implementation process has alsoexposed some contradictions and problems, and even some oriented deviation. Thereare some problems: Deviate from the assessment purpose, inappropriate assessment, theassessment of the main dislocation, low level of participation of teachers.Paper make a comprehensive analysis of the job evaluation system existed in thecurrent university teachers in Chongqing. According assessment system designprinciples, design-oriented, assessment objectives and assessment content, makeoptimization and recommendations.
