Political Compromise And Its Contemporary Significance

As a mainstream way of regulating, political compromise means that in a particular social community, political actors in mind the overall interests of the community, based on mutual tolerance and mutual respect, making mutual concessions to benefit each other as the condition, resolve the social contradictions and conflicts of interest through equal consultation, negotiation, dialogue and other non-violent way. From the generating roots, political compromise is a product of human reason and self-consciousness, contains the unity of the instrumental value and the ontology value.In the first part of this article, the author expounded the research necessity of political compromise. And previous theoretical studies were summarized from the two aspects of the connotation and research perspective. In the second part of this article, the author proceeded from the connotation of compromise and political compromise, analysed the connotation and characteristics of political compromise, described the ethical dilemmas encountered by political compromise, and made the ethical justification from the perspective of social development and human development for political compromise. In the third part of this article, the author discussed the philosophical roots of political compromise from three angles of ontology, epistemology and axiology. Political compromise as a conscious product of human reason, in dealing with the relationship between man and society, it will be accompanied by the development of human society. In the fourth part of this article, the author first expounded the political compromise thought of Chinese traditional culture and the thought process of the development of the Communist Party of China political compromise, And, on this basis, the author discussed the positive significance of a political compromise with the maintenance of world peace and development, and promote socialist modernization.
