View Of China's Modern Charity Education Research

Along with the development of our economic society and the deepening of spiritualcivilization building and social management system reform, our philanthropy has already hadthe basis for development and the broad prospects. However, as the impact of historicalreasons, the development of our philanthropy is still relatively lagging behind, which needs tobe further improved and enhanced either from charity scale, donation mechanism, charitableor from laws and the policy. As the peoples’ consciousness is closely related to thedevelopment of philanthropy, whether the concept of charity is advanced or not is animportant prerequisite for the development of philanthropy. Therefore, modern charitableview must be cultured and promoted before the development of philanthropy.Based on the previous researches and with their results, using documentary method,comparative analysis method, case study method and other methods, and starting from theexisting point of view of religious studies, ethics, history and cult urology, this study firstdiscussed modern educational charitable view, mainly in three aspects:“standardizeCharitable behavior with ethics; universal charity to promote the development of philanthropy;solve some charity problems and promote social harmony”. Analyzed that the chief content ofmodern charity view include civil rights view, citizen’s social responsibility view, altruismvalue, rational social wealth view and corporate citizenship concept. Next, it made an analysisof the situation of our charitable view education, and thinks that, the scattered andspontaneous education is the mainstream, and the key concept of charity is not yet established.The two aspects are the main problems of our charity. Finally, based on the above analysis, itput forward the ways and methods of charitable view education, mainly giving an analysis onschool education and after-school education.
