| Credibility derives from the English word Accountability. It meansreporting, explaining, justifying, being responsible and accepting thechallenge for one’s own behavior. In this paper credibility not only refersto social public’s trust in charity organization, but also an ability ofcharity organization to win public’s trust.According to the2010monitoring data announced by China charity information center, after lateJune2010, Jocie Guo event, the July national social donation is500,000,000yuan, a decline of50%. From June to August, the drop ofdonation amount accepted by charity organization reaches86.6%. TheRed Cross Society of China also receives a reduced donation. The reportshows, from Oct1st,2010to Sept30th this year, the Chinese Red Crossaccepts only RMB558,480,000from domestic and foreign organizationsand individuals. Comparing to the developed country’s data, we candiscover that the total charity donation amount of our country is small andthe charity environment needs to be improved. The key to cleaning up ourenvironment is to reshape charity organization’s credibility. Credibility ofcharity organization depends on the management and operation.Therefore, the legal problems of credibility discussed in this paper are explaining the legal problems of charity organization’s self management,external supervision. The fundamental way to enhance the credibility ofcharity organizations is to manage and supervise charity organizationswell. In this approach, this paper mainly consists of seven parts.The first part is mainly presenting the questions and summarizingresearch results of scholars at home and abroad. Through the research wecan know the research degree and angles of scholars on the credibility ofcharity organizations. On this basis, we find own research field, researchmethod.The second part mainly defines the meaning of the related conceptof charity, charitable organizations, credibility, making us have a moreprofound understanding of the connotation of charitable organizationcredibility. At the same time, this part also analyzes the theoretical basisof the supervision on the charity organization. It mainly introduces creditand market failure theories, and demonstrates the importance of thesupervision on the charity organizationThe third part mainly describes the forms of the lack of credibility ofcharity organization at present in China. This part is important to findingthe essence of problems in the following sections. The fourth part mainly analyzes the reasons of the lack of credibilityof charitable organizations in China. We mainly find the reasons byanalyzing the establishment and operation of charitable organizations. Itis worth mentioning that in this part we focus on the business problems ofcharity,doing a comprehensive dialysis.The fifth part mainly introduces the management experiences ofcharity organization in the United States and Hong Kong. The select ofthe United States and Hong Kong is mainly because that theirphilanthropy is relatively developed, and their charity organization hasgood credibility. Through the comparative analysis we summarize theinspiration from the internal management and external supervisionmechanism of foreign charitable.The sixth part is the key point of this article, mainly the solutions tosolve problem. The thought of solving problems is as the same asanalyzing problems. We also use the advanced systems and concepts inforeign countries for reference.The seventh part is the conclusion, further emphasizing theimportance of the credibility of charitable organizations as well as how tomanage the problem the next step. |
