Diplomatic etiquette is an important part of the national foreign policy, is essential for diplomatic activities form and the link, has play a decisive role position in diplomacy. In the advancement of globalization, as countries norms diplomatic etiquette was more extensive and in-depth demand. China has a long history of5000years as "a state of ceremonies", as early as in the pre-Qin period, the Central Plains earth has formed a national action and international system in general sense, between the princes frequent communication contributed to early Chinese diplomatic etiquette and norms, ahead of the western world. This is an important achievement of Chinese diplomatic history, but also a treasure in the history of world diplomacy, has the historical and realistic value, we should cherish and summary.Based on the traditional culture as the breakthrough point, through to the pre-Qin period between relevant countries diplomatic etiquette books "yili","Zuo Zhuan" and other ancient literature, in order to extract the diplomatic etiquette norms and principles between countries in the pre-Qin period, and the essence of contemporary values, thus draws the beneficial enlightenment,"learn from the past," service in the contemporary Chinese diplomacy.The first part of the thesis simply introduces research background, significance, research review, research ideas and innovation.In the second part of the "ceremony","instrument","etiquette" and " diplomatic etiquette" these simple concepts on the basis of reviewing, the definition of the establishment of the " Pre-Qin" this time, namely the vassal and bristly, diplomatic activities rich in Xi Zhou Dynasty and the spring and autumn and Warring States period active.The third part from the diplomatic etiquette formed in pre-Qin period between the national social and historical conditions, the main content of the diplomatic etiquette, etiquette reflects the diplomatic principles, practices and institutions, on the analysis of pre-Qin period of national diplomatic etiquette diplomatic etiquette changes four aspects, elaborated pre-Qin period of diplomatic etiquette four."chao,pin,hui,meng" specific rites, characteristics and evolution.The fourth part analyses the contemporary value of the diplomatic etiquette in pre-Qin period. Through the comparison with contemporary diplomatic principles and practices, thus more clear, more reflects the influence of national diplomatic etiquette of Chinese diplomatic etiquette culture in the pre-Qin period, absorbing and inheriting the ancient Chinese diplomacy and contemporary diplomacy.
