Taking doping has become such a more and more serious phenomenon as a result of the development of the globalization, commercialization and professionalization of the athletic sports that it must be dealt with. Using such methods as documentary data, expert interview, model analysis, logic analysis, the thesis, by using and extending the two basic modals of prisoners’ dilemma and the gambling game, tries to analyze the strategic tendency in doping usage and supervision from the viewpoint of game according to the human being’s characteristics of rational competition and the theory of cost-income in the hope of offering some advice for the athletes and related department so as to eliminate dope-taking in athletic sports. The thesis also tries to put the philosophical thinking mode of game and sports game into athletics so as to analyze athletic phenomena according to the game theory and set corresponding measures. Therefore, the game theory can be used to direct the development of athletics, ensure the healthy development of athletics. The thesis is written to attract more people to understand the problems in the development of athletics from the viewpoint of game theory.According to the statistical analysis, doping phenomena in competitive sports, especially in field and track are so serious that great attention has been paid to it by the related department. However, the phenomena are still serious because of the hysteretic supervision technology and expensive expenditure of supervision. When they are not aware of its harm, when there is no supervision mechanism and when the temptation of the competition result is irresistible, athletes take dope unscrupulously because they are afraid that they will suffer losses. However, when the supervision mechanism exists, the athletes will think about the frequency of the check of the supervision institution, the harm to their bodies as well as the suspension, the sum of the fine and the ruin of reputation caused by dope-taking. If the athletes don’t take dope and they can benefit more, if dope does greater harm to them, if more fine should be paid and if they suffer more serious reputation loss, the athletes are less likely to take dope, and vice versa. At the same time, there is a paradox in game between the athletes and supervision department. If the roles of the supervision mechanism is to be played over a long period of time, precaution consciousness should always be strengthened. Only this way, dope-taking can be decreased for ever.
