Thistransformation lay the foundations of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristicsand the construction of a harmonious society. But in the process of social transformation,various contradictions and problems are coming up, and hamper the development of socialistmodernization with Chinese characteristics. We need to make a reform and development tosolve the problems. Nevertheless, some university students still exist the problems that political beliefsconfused, and so on.Therefore, as an ideological and political educational worker, we should be cling to thepurposes that bring up the university students to the person who are the successors ofsocialism with ability roundly. In the ideological and political educational work, we firstmust hold on theprinciple of political, hierarchical and people oriented. The second is carry out theeducation of communism, socialism, road of socialism with Chinese characteristics,knowledge of Communist Party, and socialist democracy. The third is explore some newavenues such as strengthen the class teaching, solve pratical problems with the students,make the social practice, construct the the campus culture and so on. At last, it should bebuilt the safeguard measures like strengthen the construction of its organization, techniciantraining, and improve the educational environment.
