In the national life of the Mongolian Xinjiang region and the Xibe are to archeryis known, these two national long-term interaction, so the formation of similar anddifferent characteristics of the archery culture and different ways inherited andpassed down. Bow and arrow compared to the modern tools simple and original, butas a tool for war and production throughout the entire development process of thesetwo nations, archery and cultural infiltration among the production, military, folk,from different angles in various periods to promote the continuous development ofthese two peoples.The three elements of the culture, the use of literature, field survey, interview theXibe Mongolian both bows culture in the three levels of spiritual, material andinstitutional horizontal comparative study. The results show that the the MongolianXibe bows culture on the material aspects of the obvious difference between the twopeoples in the history of different living environments, so they use the bow andarrow appearance, size and construction are not the same. Mongolian and Xibe bowand arrow and cultural difference is mainly reflected in the folklore and customs ofthe two peoples on the material aspects of Mongolian archery-related legends areportrayed living conditions at that time reflected the desire of the Mongolian peoplewant unity and solidarity. The Xibe archery-related stories are archery will and faithof this nation are linked together, in the customs of daily life Xibe more thanMongolian pay attention to the artistry of prominent bow and arrow and cultural.Mongolian and Xibe traditional archery activities are different, the Mongolianarchery as gatherings and festivals rather than a simple game, showing thecharacteristics of diversity, entertainment. The Xibe then attaches great importanceto the competitive nature of traditional archery, the use of the grouping of playersand equipment in the game has very strict requirements, more in line with thestandards of modern sports competitions.Although the Mongolian and Xibe living habits, bow and arrow objects andarchery competitions in form are differences, but with every year the Festival is heldfrom Xinjiang, the two nations have paid attention to and participate in one of thearchery competition, which now makes the two communities folk traditional archerycompetition for the difference is narrowing.
