"Bilingual Education in Xibe Nationality Schools of Xinjiang Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County"is based on the field investigation of the bilingual education in the Xibe nationality schools of the Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County, applying the theory of bilingual education, sociology, sociolinguistics, psychology, nationalitology, and nationality pedagogy etc., through the methods of interview and questionnaire which combining with literature studies to give a relatively comprehensive knowledge to the present situation, achievements, modes, existed problems, and language attitude of bilingual learners of the Xibe nationality schools of the Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County, and at the same time also to reflect out that the the bilingual education of Xibe nationality schools are lack - it is just the weak links of the nationality language teaching. Because of the influences of many the above subjective and objective factors, the social functions and values of the Xibe language are becoming weak gradually with every day's passing, and the numbers of people using Xibe language is reducing also gradually with every day's passing, while the numbers of people using Chinese concurrently takes on a look of upward trend. So the Xibe language teaching has been influenced seriously. Being against with this problem, the author suggests that the Xibe nationality school education should insist on going way of bilingual teaching of Xibe language and Chinese, and correctly understand the positions, effects, and significances of the Xibe language and Chinese bilingual teaching, through reinforcing the Xibe language and Chinese bilingual teaching in elementary school stage, to further promote the normal development of the Xibe language and Chinese bilingual teaching works, and to develop a new situation.
