The mightiness of a country and the rejuvenation of the nation are inseparable fromthe accumulation of talent. The youth, as the growing power, we should not only payattention to the development of their knowledge and technique but also the improvementof their thought and morality level. Because the ideological morality quality is a powerfulguarantee for the correct role which knowledge and technique plays. Based on the theoryof moral development, this paper grasp the present ideological and ethical situation ofcontemporary teenagers overall. It seizes two characteristics of the youth. Firstly, theirideology and moral can be changed easily. Secondly, self consciousness is becomingmore and more obvious. And then, the thesis is written from two points, the youththemselves and the education they receive to analyze and summarize the main problemsexist in their ideology and moral and the education. The youth themselves: Firstly, thebehavior and the consciousness come apart. Secondly, the awareness of moral becomesweak. Thirdly, in their mind,everything must be worth of something. The education:Firstly, the content of education breaks away from the reality. Secondly, the books can’tarouse the interests of the students. Thirdly, the way in which the teachers teach is toodull and old fashioned. The problems above are caused by a serious of factors. Forexample, the home education becomes deviated, the influence of school educationbecomes smaller, the moral atmosphere of our society becomes weak, and the challengeof the traditional moral education concept.In order to solve the problems, this thesis turns to the theory of Confucianmorals. Proceed from the own charm of Confucian virtue, it fully exploit the availablevalue of Confucian morals, such as the rules, the ways, the content. It contains the youth themselves, their parents, the teachers and other external education factors, with whichwe can help to upgrade the ideological and ethical standards of the youth. In addition, wealso need to handle the scientificalness of education, to keep an eye on the practicalnessof education and the last but not the least, we should combine the strength of home,school, and society all together to make fully use of the Confucian morals.
