This article Firstly proceeds from the definition of the nationalspirit, and analyzes Chinese and foreign definitions and conditions ofthe national spirit Research, pointing out the necessity and importanceof the Chinese national spirit in ideological and political education.Finally, put forward the main strategies to strengthen Chinese nationalspirit in colleges and universities’ideological and political education.Research content as follows:The article consists of five chapters.The first Chapter Introduce the research background, researchsignificance, domestic research, foreign theories, research methods, thebasic ideas and innovations of the Chinese national spirit in theideological and political education.The second chapter is national Spiritual connotation of culturaldifferences. The first discusses the definition of the Chinese spirit,several concepts related to the Chinese national spirit. On this basis,comb the excellent tradition of the spirit of the Chinese nation,including: Confucianism, Taoism, Legalism, Mohism thought and the Chinesenational spirit. Discusses the spirit of the Chinese nation in modernenrichment and development, according to the three divided periods,namely: from the May Fourth Movement to the founding of New China, NewChina to the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, fromthe reform and opening up to the present, a total of the Spirit of theenrichment and development of three periods. Finally, the United States,South Korea and Chinese national spirit education experience.The third chapter is the spiritual culture environment analysis.Discussion from Structure, features, functions cultural environment.During the process of discussion: First, the cultural environmentstructure is divided into macro-structure and microstructure. Second,talk about cultural environment multi-dimensional, controlled,orientation and inheritance four major characteristics. Finally, from thesocial scene, Socialization and education express the function ofcultural environment.The fourth chapter is to play the Chinese national spirit part in colleges and universities’ideological and political education. Firstof all, establishing the guiding ideology of Chinese national spiriteducation in the ideological and political education, specific practicesare: maintaining the traditional, with the times; its essence, to itsdregs; making long-term development mechanism. Secondly, define the wayof Chinese national spirit in ideological and political education, highereducation as the main channel of Chinese nation education, whilestrengthening the colleges and universities’Chinese national spiriteducation. Finally, Put forward policy recommendations of playing therole of Chinese national spirit in the ideological and political education,five areas: attention to the study of national culture; train citizensnoble character; take full advantage of the second course; Strengtheningceremony applications; create a good cultural atmosphere in campus.The fifth chapter is the times call for Chinese national spiriteducation. About four aspects: First, play the Chinese nationalspirit-oriented function. Secondly, the Chinese national spirit shapeson character. Then, Improve Students’ value pursuit. Finally, evoke thecultural consciousness of university students.
