National spirit is a spiritual support for a nation’s survival anddevelopment,which also provides the persistent driving force for ourcountry to adapt to the economic globalization and participate ininternational economic and technical competition and corporation in alarger scope,in wider fields and in higher level,especially after enteringthe WTO.The report of the sixteenth Party Congress earnestly advanced:confronting the influences of all kinds of thoughts and cultures, we mustregard promoting, developing and fostering national spirit as theimportant task in building the high level culture.
