English is the most widely used language in the world. With the development of economicglobalization, The significant role of English has become increasingly prominent. Also, English educationhas become a major project which starts with baby. In China, nearly all Kindergarten have set up Englishclasses. But the learning of children is not very satisfactory. This is mainly due to the traditional”didactic”teaching methods can not arouse the motivation of young children, and have seriously hindered children’sinitiative. Therefore, we need to find a more efficient way to teaching children English. The moderninformation technology which dominated by multimedia computer has provided us with a platform, andConstructivist learning theory provides us a theoretical guide. In support of the theory and technology, toexplore new English teaching methods for children, and promote children’s overall, long-term development,has important theoretical and practical significance.Through analysising the English teaching of young children and computer’s application in it,based on the theory of Constructivist learning environment design, to create the English teaching of youngchildren by used computer. On the basis of the theory, This study mainly used practical case analysis andexperimental method to explore. Supplemented by observation, interview and others, We can understandchildren deep and make the learning evaluation. In addition, we would consider other factors that impact onyoung children learning English. According to the children’s situation of which I selected for experimentalnursery, selecting topics for learning, and conduct the English Instructional Design of young childrenspecifically. On the classrooms, we made evaluation while observing the performance of children, as asource of experimental data. At the same time, to analyze the case of teaching, identify the advantage andinadequacies. Through data analysis, concluded that: The children who have learned in well-designed environment, which under the computer-aided for two months, their ability to repeat in English, show ofhands and focus all have significant improvement. The focus is particular. These three aspects werereflected in the changes of children’s English learning, motivation and positive. Through the case andexperimental studies, verify the validity of the theory proposed in the study. At the same time, under theguidance of the practice, revise and improve the theory constantly, and to hope that play a certain referenceto the further research.In the course of the study, we also encountered many problems. For example, the preschoolteachers can not to access information actively. Due to the limited of equipment, young children can nothave a hands-on one by one. New teaching methods have put forward new demands for teachers andschools, that waiting us continue to study and improve. Full use of “technology” to optimize children’slearning environment, to promote the education of young children truly “modern”, that will be a long-termsubject for we continue to study.
