Through combining with the historicalrecords and historical background to straighten out the cock-bonedivining which it is recognized by the central dynasty, then has wordsrecorded, finally become a self-system of development in two thousandyears. I use the macro-historical perspective and the historicalanthropological methods to the study cock-bone divining for the first time.The book of “Yue witch with cock-bone divining” is the mostrepresentative of the system about the cock-bone divining which the Qing Dynasty Huang Shifa written in5years, through deeply researching theZhuang settlements. Through theway of comparative analysis, traceable downstream and confirm eachother, and deeply understand the cultural connotation of the cock-bonedivining. By researching the long existence custom culture to explore thedisappeared Zhuang culture in the long history and fully explain thehistorical significance of the Zhuang cock-bone divining, culturalmeaning and value of academic research. Finally, I use ethnologymethods, case studies, and take Wang Yoshimura as my field work inTianlin County, Guangxi province. I suggest to carry out the descriptivestudy about the local cock-bone divining in existence forms and use ofmorphological, to analyze the cock-bone divining’s status in People livingsystem, and to find the cock-bone divining customs how actively adaptto the new social environment, then to completely understand more aboutthe village cock-bone divining culture.
