Southwest Contradiction

Since the1980s, the research about the Southwest United University has become a hot topicin academic circles. However, most of the investigators focused on researching the brilliantachievements of the Southwest United University, and few of them analyzed the contradictioncaused by the combining. In fact, the completed contradictions of the Southwest UnitedUniversity show another phenomenon in the war period. Through showing and analyzing thecontradictions, it is helpful to understand the complete historical situation of the SouthwestUnited University. Previous studies mainly adopted to the theories of historiography, culturology,Sociology, psychographics, etc. However, in conformity with the principle of the problemdetermines the mehtod, the author takes advantages of some other theories, such as Game Theory,Histology, Power Theory, Cost Theory to proceed interpretation. Diversification of theories andmethods in the historical research and interdisciplinary research are bound to the tendency of theNew historiography.Based on the above cognition, the paper shows and analyzes the internal and externalcontradictions of the Southwest United University fully. It analyzes the reasons of thecontradictions from theoretic and other fields, and sums up the easing strategy of contradictionand analyzes the effectiveness of strategy. Getting through investigating and sorting thecomplicated contradiction, the author rethinks the achievements and imperfections of theSouthwest United University and the real spirit of the Southwest United University. According tothe problems of union university, the author puts forward to the reference and revelation.According to the above ideas, the paper is divided into five parts.The part of introduction points out the main reasons of the topic, related research reviews,research thoughts, new idea and shortages, research methods, the research purpose and meaning.The first part mainly traced out layers of general contradiction and conflict of life scenefrom the internal and external aspects at great length. As far as the external aspect, there aremany conflicts between the Southwest United University and the ministry of education andnational government. As far as the internal aspect, the first level is that many conflicts are causedby the leaders of three universities, the group of three universities and contrast of the relativestrength. The second level is owning to different academic viewpoint and political beliefsbetween every school, each of them can not receive others opinions. The third level is theconflicts between the parties. There are internal factions of kuomintang party and fight ofkuomintang party and Communist Party in the campus.The second part mainly analyzes the causes of the contradiction from theories. The paperadopts the point of view of the Game Theory, and uses related theories of the Arsenal Game andNash equilibrium in order to analyze the original reasons of the friction between threeuniversities. It analyzes the causes of external contradictions between political parties and groupsof the Southwest United University from the view of Power theory, and uses related theories ofChecks and Balances and Power Relations to analyze lots of reasons of contradictions in theprocess of Southwest United University of combination, separation and organization. In addition,different concept of education and education resources and personnel, in addition to theproceeding of self-inherent contradiction of the three school are also the reasons of conflicts.The third part mainly analyzes the contradiction of relief measures of Southwest UnitedUniversity. Generally speaking, on the one hand, a hierarchy of the organizations and institutionsand a complete set of rules and regulations are established by the Southwest United Universityeases many contradictions to some degrees. On the other hand, by means of inspiring patrioticspirit, improving the spirit of freedom and democracy, strengthening the good learning universalcommon points of margin relationship, also eases the emerging internal and external conflicts.However, after the author investigating, these relief measures do not really resolvs allcontradictions. They are only partly relieved and not really solved. Until the Southwest United University retires, three universities are still not really fusion, each of them are still mutualsuspect.The fourth part is the reflection and enlightenment of the study. Firstly, this part summarizesthe achievements and imperfections. The research shows that the Southwest United Universitycultivates many qualified and special talents, but it does not achieve the real fusion, and itmaintains in difficult operation. Therefore, the real spirit of Southwest United University is notonly the representation to the spirit of patriotism and democracy, spirit of freedom, and the mostimportant is the spirit of facing contradiction directly, strengthening communication andplanning the overall situation together. It is the quintessence of the spirit of Southwest UnitedUniversity. Secondly, reviewing the combination education, it mainly represents on imperfectsystem, obstacles in resources sharing, the unformed university spirit and so on. The experiencesand lessons of combination education of the Southwest United University can provideexperience and enlightenment for current of combination education.
