Experiments play an important role in chemistry which is a natural science. Chemical experiment is an efficient form in which we cultivate students the scientific methods, scientific reserves and research capacity of students. The improvement and development direction of the middle school chemistry teaching materials under the new curriculum, is to experiment more scientific, securer, greener and miniature. Since the creative talents are in need during this new era, chemistry teaching should meet the needs of the new time and cultivate talents with innovative spirit. With improvement of the experimental textbooks, open students’ minds, develop students’ creative thinking and ability, so as to improve the teaching effect.This thesis through the questionnaire, conducted a survey on the teaching of high school chemistry experiments, analyzed the questionnaire results, presented some problems in the teaching of high school chemistry experiment. According to the principles of experimental improvement, analyzed the experiment conducted in a textbook version of high school chemistry compulsory improvement of case studies, and through interviews with chemistry teachers, understood the effect of experimental improvement. Based on human development theory, constructivist learning theory, humanistic learning theory, the theory of multiple intelligences and innovative educational theory, this thesis has come up with the corresponding countermeasures according to the problems in the teaching of chemistry experiments.The paper is divided into five parts.Part I:Background to the study and research methods. Part in the human reading the literature on the basis of high school chemistry experiment teaching situation, the innovative and experimental literature research, analysis of the research status of the current domestic chemical experiment teaching, and found not suitable for students to develop content and found insufficient, and make improvements. Research methods used in this paper are:survey, experiment, and case analysis.Part II:Theoretical basis. Chemistry Experimental Teaching main task is to carry out innovative and experimental teaching. This section summarizes the current chemical experiment teaching education and teaching theory, and theoretical guidance for this research.Part III:Questionnaire survey. In order to understand the implementation of the new curriculum reform, the status of teaching of high school chemistry experiment, the experimental high school in Hubei Province120high school students, the experimental teaching situation in a school year, made a survey. The investigation related to:the students ’knowledge of the experiment, student grouping experiments carried out, the teachers’ demonstration experiments carried out and experiment and innovate in the implementation. Seen from the survey results, experimental teaching conditions in the new curriculum has been greatly improved, but the demonstration experiment in the teaching more students to experiment less, more validation experiments, lengthy exploratory experiments compared with lessPart Ⅳ:Specific test case. Based on the principles of experimental improvement, through the improvement of specific experiments, reflect the advantages of the experimental teaching of green, miniaturization and phenomena intuitive, great importance in the teaching process, the ability of students to all aspects of culture.Part Ⅴ:Conclusion. That part is a summary of the previous interviews to understand the improved test can improve the quality of teaching, summed up the ability to experiment and innovate on the Students’ Ability, and in the teaching of meaningful not only for the improvement of the experimental and value, but also innovative and experimental teaching.The survey found the problems in the experimental teaching solutions to the problems of improved experimental teaching, came up with students’ ability to explore and create should be focused in the teaching process, and build a multi-level, multi-dimensional teaching evaluation system.
