Chemistry is a science based on experiment.Experimental teaching is the basic characteristic of chemical teaching.Therefore,chemical experiment plays an important role in overall complementation of chemistry curriculum objectives in junior high schools.It not only can stimulate students' interest in learning chemistry but help students form scientific concepts.Besides,it is helpful for the cultivation of students' handson ability and innovation ability and the formation of scientific literacy.Since the implementation of new curriculum reform,lots of chemical educators have done the research in terms of improvement and innovation of the experiment.Meanwhile,they have made great achievements.However,due to the backward economic development,insufficient investment in experimental funds,imperfect equipment and pharmaceutical equipment,poor student base,the shortage of teachers,the lack of strict assessment methods and other factors,most of the experimental teaching in rural junior middle schools has not been carried out well,and even been neglected.In order to search deeply the situation of chemical experimental teaching in rural junior middle schools and the specific problems existing in experimental teaching,and to help chemistry teachers in rural junior middle school carry out experimental teaching better,the author carried out a study on the improvement and innovation of chemical experimental teaching in rural junior middle schools.On the basis of consulting a large number of materials,and through field interviews and questionnaires,the author understands the present situation and existing problems of experimental teaching in rural junior middle schools,and analyzes the causes of the problems.On the basis of discovery learning theory and constructivism learning theory,aiming at the experiment which is difficult to carry out or the effect is not good,based on the theory of discovery learning and constructivism,with green,explore,life as a direction,and science,effectiveness,aboriginality and simplicity as basic principles,and combined with the characteristics and requirements of different types of experiments,the paper studies the improvement and innovation of perceptual experiments,inquiry experiments,verification experiments,training experiments and extracurricular experiments respectively.Besides,the paper discusses how to use modern media equipment and carry out experimental teaching better.Through participating in the practice,I goes into the rural sample middle school,applied the experiment of improvement and innovation to the actual teaching,and compared the teaching effect.After the improvement and innovation of the experiment,the author finds the phenomenon is more obvious,the medicine is more economical,the operation is simpler,the success rate is higher,the time is shorter and the environment is greener.What's more,the improved experiment teaching effect is better and the efficiency is higher.Through repeated practice,the author finds out the best way for rural junior high school students of chemical experiment teaching methods.Finally,the research results will be arranged,provide scientific and feasible experimental teaching methods,boldly create a new aspect of chemical experimental teaching,broaden the teachers' experimental teaching ideas and students' learning channels.We will encourage some rural teachers to change their ideas of education and teaching,improve their experimental and innovative abilities and their educational and teaching abilities,accelerate the narrowing of the gap between urban and rural areas,and realize the integrated development of urban and rural compulsory education.
