With the implementation of the National Fitness Program, the craze to participate in the folk sports swept. In this paper, those means like literature study, observation, questi onnaires, mathematical statistics, interviews, logical analysis are used to inquire into the matters like project, area, urban and rural, age, gender, the time involved and the freque ncy which are involved in the process of the folk sports of the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone, thus to find out the problems appeared while conducting, and put forw ard the solutions to solve them.Folklore means the folk culture, which comes from the concept of public service to t he people. Folk sports is a branch of folk culture, which has such characteristics as bein g regional, cultural, unique and diverse. Blue Shandong Peninsula Economic Zone is loc ated in coastal area of Shandong Province, where the marine economy is developing rap idly, and the marine culture flourishing, because of which the conduction of the folk spo its here is different. Folk sports is Chinese national treasurements, this article aims to st udy the present development and protection of the folk sports.Through the investigation we found such problems like environmental destruction, the gloomy organization, lack of professional guidance, serious aging participants, projects conduct ion out of balanced an inferiority variation. Thus we put forward such solutions, exploration and organizations, environmental protection, development of the interest, the combination of Personnel training and cultural and economic, to solve these problems.
