This study adopts questionnaire method to investigate the status of the primary school water safety education of Wuhan. Make a survey about Pupils, parents, teachers and school leaders by four different groups of questionnaires to get the status quo of primary school water safety education of Wuhan, and analyze the results of the data, then make countermeasures and suggestions to water safety education.This study is based on the theory of education and training, learning, investigate four dimensions include safety knowledge, awareness, skills and behavior in water of the primary and secondary school students. Investigate the status of safety education and attitudes of the parents in water, and inquire into the expectations and opinions of the parents about the water safety education of the students. Investigate Influencing factors of the development of water safety education and the views of water safety education of teachers. Investigate the factors affecting the water safety education teaching facilities, the implementation of water safety education on school of school leaders. Conduct a comprehensive investigation of the student of exposed people to obtain more comprehensive information to exclude the possibility of interference innovatively.Select three schools in Wuhan city and rural conclude six to investigate to be the research target. The research targets were1320students,1320parents,160teachers,18leaders of school. Make descriptive statistics and multi-factor analysis of variance of data by SPSS, The main results were as follows:1. Security is insufficient:pupil waters knowledge, consciousness is not strong, skills is weak, the behavior of high risk.2. Attentions of the parents were not enough. Parents were lack of water safety knowledge and skills.3. Incomplete equipment of school facilities, the implementation of education is only in forms of spoken and written. The consideration of the lack of skills of teachers, the financial and safety aspects is the main reason that the school water safety education can not reach the needs of the student water safety education4. Significant differences exist between Rural and urban water safety education, Rural areas are more lacks than cities.5. Make recommendations for the water safety of pupils in Wuhan:set up the mode of water safety education of students, including water safety training for students, parents and teachers, make Cooperation and communication between parents and school. Rural and urban should have their own educations which are fit their situation.
