Mathematics thinking method is a mathematics education research focus, it is from the concrete mathematics content extracted out to understand the nature of mathematical knowledge, mathematical cognition in it are in common use, is to establish the mathematical theory and mathematical problem solving guidelines, in research and mathematical problem solving process means, ways and means. To the thinking method is the most basic, the most commonly used method. We find that many high school students, even if it is a provincial key high school high level students, to the way of thinking is still a big barrier, is not easy to understand and use, so we think out this study is very meaningful. In this paper, on the basis of previous research results, combined with the high school mathematics study the transformation method, meaning, to the principle, to the strategy. The reduction principles include:familiar with the principle, simplicity principle, harmony principle, visual principle, the standardization principle, low levels of principle, is difficult to the principle. Corresponding to the strategy of strangers, including familiar difficult easy, of the unknown to the known, the number and the shape transformation, special and general transformation, high dimension and low dimensional transformation, integral method, and back into the transformation, turn from a guest into a host. Discusses the solid geometry transformation method, discusses with examples how to use mathematical knowledge to the immanent connection between realize reduction. Based on case analysis the article puts forward to the thinking method in the teaching should pay attention to the problem, overcome the negative influence.
