Student teaching is an important part of teacher education, and it is the comprehensive practical course of teacher education to implement the theory with practical principles, is the bond of theory with practice. It is very important for professional the development of pre-service teacher education. It will affect not only the formation of attitude and ability of the entire teacher career professional, but also have some impact on future teachers’professional loyalty. The level of quality of educational practice to some extent, a direct impact on the development of teacher education. With the increasing requirements of teacher professionalization, how to improve educational practice mode, improve the quality of educational practice have attracted the attention of the world, but some countries have made a series of reforms.Now, teacher education bridges the gap between theory and practice. But trained teachers’adaptability is poor, due to lack of teaching practical ability. And it has a direct impact on teacher the improvement of quality. To study and learn from the experience of other countries’ student teaching will help to reflect on our country’s student teaching and improve the quality of teacher education. The United States as the most powerful country in today’s world has always been attached great importance to the reform of teacher education. The Blue Ribbon Panel of the Commission of Accreditation of Teacher Education Teacher Education put forword the new concept of teacher education of the clinical practice of teacher education. Clinical practice pre-service teacher education student teaching mode develop a reasonable target, the detailed evaluation criteria, and form a comprehensive protection mechanism and so on. Analysis of this student teaching model, both contribute to the lack of reflection of China’s student teaching, but also to improve China’s post pre-service teacher education training system to provide a useful reference. This article is composed by six parts:Introduction:describes the proposed research questions, define the important concepts, for example "Clinical Practice"、"Teacher Education", "Student teaching" and so on. And comb at some relevant literature and the ideas of the thesis andapproach.PartⅠ:the connotation of the "Clinical Practice" Teacher Education, including training objectives:to train and retain effective teachers; curriculum:spiral curriculum; qualification:normal health certification is the main diversification; support partnerships:government, universityand practical co-operation of the school; information systems:information based for teacher Education;PartⅡ:the basic elements " Clinical Practice" pre-service teacher student teaching mode, namely the goal of educational practice:the interns practical knowledge generation; internship education; evaluation of educational practice;PartⅢ:it introduces a clinical practice "pre-service teacher student teaching mode protection mechanism:internship instructor certification, supporting partnerships, education internship site certification and selection, network support of the student teaching;PartⅣ:it summarizes the characteristics of the United States "Clinical Practice" pre-service teacher student teaching mode, and its value orientation and implementation of conditions for a comprehensive, in-depth analysis;PartⅤ:several reasonable suggestions:an educational internship internship goals, internship, internship instructor qualification certification system certification standards of student teaching, student teaching asessment, supportive partnership.
