The Research About The Construction Mechanism Of Culture Representation Of The Chinese Groups Of The 1990s Under The Background Of Network Culture

The theory of culture representation can give a good explanation to politic, economic, cultural, and social factors related to individual. This research was based on the review of studies on constructionism theory, and adopted in-depth interview method that interviews were conducted with several typical interviewees who were selected by questionnaire survey, and then employed data from Internet forums and records from QQ chatting rooms as database, by discourse analysis method, to make a tentative interpretation to the construction mechanism of culture representation of the Chinese groups of the 1990s.This thesis consists of five parts, which are organized with questions posing, literature review(making an overview on culture representation theory, structuration and field theory, symbolic interaction theory, and research results of the Internet culture of the Chinese groups of the 1990s), research design, case analysis(including discourse analysis and text analysis to construct the construction mechanism of culture representation of the Chinese groups of the 1990s), and discussion and conclusion.The Internet construction mechanism of culture representation of the Chinese groups of the 1990s was explained by culture representation theory, structuration theory, field theory, symbolic interaction theory and interpretation of triditional theory of Socialogy.The main conclusions are as follows:First, the construction mechanism of culture representation of the Chinese groups of the 1990s is characterized by implict force. Second, the culture representation of the Chinese groups of the 1990s is mainly affected by politic system, culture and space, and its external mechanism is operated by these processes of institutional exclusion,fighting for the right words,divorcing mainstream culture,cultural differention,spatial separation,concealing identity.Third, both the internal and external mechanisms must be harmonious and cannot be divided. Last, the construction mechanism of culture representation of the Chinese groups of the 1990s has great significance on spaces, rules, groups and culture, it embodies that:creating new dimensions of the space, establishing new frameworks of rules and disciplines, extending the cultural field on the Internet, and especially intensifying the groups’ self-identity.
