| Based on the definition and construct of National Consciousness, this researchattempted to combine theories and empirical researches, be established in the currentsituation of the Mongolian, Koreans in China and the Han pupils. The Literature,Interview Method, Questionnaire were used in the study, it also included manyStatistical method, such as Factor analysis, Structure equation, Differences inspection.Try to figure out the construction of National Consciousness, the situation and thedevelopment of pupil’s National Consciousness. In addition, it examined the situationand the development of the National identity, and the relationship between NationalConsciousness and National identity.At first, prepared for working out National Consciousness of Pupils. TheNational Consciousness were defined as the individual to the national perception andidentity, the social individual based on their country’s history, culture, nationalconditions and the understandings, then had the psychological feeling of the nation, itincluded three dimensions, they are national recognition, evaluation, Sense ofbelonging. Based on the literature as well as the half open interview, the questions ofthe prediction questionnaire were confirmed. After the first test, the project analysisand exploratory factor analysis were used to determine the composition of a formalquestion. And the questionnaire had been proved to be reliable and valid. Thequestionnaire can be used in the research.The researchers used National Consciousness of Pupils which was drew up in theabove study, and National Identity Scale which was written by Qin xiangrong. Theparticipants are the Mongolian,Koreans in China and the Han pupils. Researcheswere both used variance analysis to explore the characteristics of the participants.Then used Mean differences inspection analysis to discuss the correlations of the two variables.After the above researches,the major conclusions were as follows:(1)TheNational Consciousness Scale has good reliability and validity, and its reduced editionwith21items contained three dimensions, which are national recognition, evaluation,Sense of belonging.(2)On the whole, pupils had strong national consciousness andnational identity.(3)There was no significant difference in the sex factor in both twovariables.(4)There were significant difference in the nation and grades in the total ofnational consciousness and the three dimensions.(5) There were significant differencein the nation and grades in the total of national identity and the fourdimensions.(6)The correlation between national consciousness and national identitywas significant.(7)The scores of national consciousness was significant highly thanthe scores of national identity. |
