Awareness Of Group Identity In Different Scenarios

Nowadays, "identity" is a term of frequent use which has been a hottest topic since the past decades in the form of political identity in the 1980s, ethnic identity in the 1990s and now more of ethnic identification or cultural identity, from which we can detect the degree and fields of the social focus. Based on the case studies of three Tu's community, the current dissertation will probe into their local developments of geographical identity, ethnic identity, citizenship and cultural identity and national construction etc. To be following the academic criterion, this dissertation will introduce other studies in its research as well as related anthropological principles (such as psychology, education, political science, linguistics, sociology and history of science and folklore, etc.) Field work research of anthropology is the main method used in this dissertation, while other methods also contribute a lot to my research work such as sociology, psychological analysis and historical analysis of the literature and mythology review.On the basis of definition clarification of the term 'ethnic group' , this dissertation provides a localized anthropological text on ethnic identity.
