Hui is China’s fourth largest ethnic, and it also is a most scattered minority in china. For the differentof its own political, economical, social, geographic-based development environment and conditions, Huigradually formed some development characteristics which contain "large dispersed, small settlements",extensive adaptability, pluralism and diversity. Hui exist the obvious geographical differences in itscommunities and the difference of Hui urban and rural communities is obvious. For China’s Huicommunity, there is little about the development of the Hui community network structure in the CentralPlains based on different location and environment.The Shunhe Hui District in Kaifeng is one of five ethnic districs in china. The population of Huithere is small, but it has a higher proportion and the distribution is relative concentration, so the ShunheHui District in Kaifeng is a good case as "a atypical Hui community". This paper take Dongdasi mosqueCommunity and Zhangzhuang community as examples, to make a comparative study of the spatialdifferences of the network structure of the Muslim community. Within Hui community, the co-exist ofgeographical networks, the network of social relations, economic networks and religious networksconstitute Hui social network. They maintain the normal operation of the Hui community by their ethnicidentity, geographical proximity, the relationship proximity and the system close.The first part provides an overview of the background and significance, the related concepts and thetheories and methods that used in this article; The second part summarizes the research of urban and ruralHui community network structure and their comments; The third section provides a brief analysis oflongitudinal changes in the course of the Hui communities in Kaifeng City. We study geographicalnetwork structure and morphology analysis from the Muslim community living patterns and Huipopulation; Part forth analyzes the case area network of social relations form a network of familyrelationships which contain the marriage and other social relations; The fifth section briefly describes thatthe Hui are good at doing business in tradition, analysis the differences of economic network structurefrom the residents of the occupational structure and economic networks and contacts; The sixth sectionbriefly describes the study of Mosque, the development of education by the Church as well as an overviewof the new education which is construct by Imam; Part seventh is the conclusion, outlook and inadequate. We can get four conclusions form this paper.(1)Geographical network: The Hui communities in Kaifeng urban and rural areas Keeping thegeopolitical structure essentially. In the process of modernization, The Hui communities are subject tovarying degrees of impact in urban and rural areas. The changes of geographical network have a majorimpact on urban and rural area. The strength of ethnic identity is the culture of the Hui community ingeopolitical structure change internal.(2)Network of social relations: With the change of Hui community, the number of the Han intermarriageis Increasing in urban and rural areas. Hui residents in mate selection criteria from a single religious to theethnic groups. It is nuclear family majorly in Dongda Mosque. Then, it is major backbone of the family inthe Zhangzhuang community. The contact with Hui majority Han in the local, the most important limitingfactor that impact Hui Han exchanges is the diet, living habits and religious beliefs.(3)Economic network: Hui’s business tradition in urban and rural communities have a significantexpression, Economic network structure constructed between the two areas are quite different. Theeconomy generally is in the form of based on family run in the Dongda Mosque community. It is a typicalsmall business operators Business and Economy mode. The Zhangzhuang community mainly in farming,aquaculture, cattle and sheep slaughtering industry and leather processing, the size of these traditionalsideline is influence by the external market.(4)Education and edge network: The Mosques teaching is at the core of the process of constructing. Thereplacement and flow of The Imam in The Mosque has a key role to the Education and edge network. Theteaching staff of Dongda Mosque community mainly come from the Hui settlements and teach edge of thenetwork is very large. However, Zhangzhuang community is more closely with outside the province in thecostructed of the teaching staff. The role of The Mosques in the contemporary Hui community is weakerand education by the Church is in the trough. Compared to the role of the Church education, moderneducation is more and more attention.
