Research On The Belief Mentality Of College Student Under The Multi-cultural Background

With the Social transformation, China’s political, economic, cultural and other aspects have changed greatly, cultural diversity is one of the main performance. And faith belongs to the category of culture, when the Culture presents diversification development trend,the faith will also appear change, such as the multicultural lead to multiple values coexist, and which led to the people in the value choice appear confused. At present, University students are in the beliefs of mature and stable important stage, and College students as the main force in the national development and construction, so they Faith mentality for the whole society and its own development has important significance.In view of College student’s belief mentality, many scholars through investigation found that our College student’s belief mentality in the generally is positive, healthy, and the majority of students support the leadership of the party and the Marx doctrine of faith. However, under the multicultural background, some college students’belief mentality also appeared various problems due to various factors such as the belief mentality of utilitarianism, confusion, the lack of faith and so on. Actually, these problems have not only greatly negative effect on the growth of college students, but also threatened the social harmonious development. Therefore, this article’s purpose understands the status of College student’s belief mentality, discuss the factors to the student’s belief mentality formation, and finally find how to solve the college student’s belief mentality problems.Through the questionnaire survey and case interviews, we found that the factors led to the college student’s mentality formation are self cognition, the political and economic system, Family and School education, Social public opinion. And the university student’s beliefs demand, beliefs intention, beliefs emotions and beliefs personality displayed different problems as a result of these factors, these problems will also cause college students into belief crisis dilemma. Therefore, this article put forward suggestions and countermeasures such as strengthen the belief cognition, innovate of belief theory, emphasize the belief education and purge belief environment for the purpose of solve these problems.To sum up, under the multicultural background the college student’s mentality has many problems in this paper, such as the belief mentality of utilitarianism, confusion. Therefore, analysis and discuss which factors lead to the College Students’belief formation, pay attention to construction of belief of College Students mentality, accurately grasp the development trend of College Students’belief and integrate all forces form social to help and guide the University Students Belief mentality formation is extremely necessary.
