With the development of information technology, a growing number of learners have accepted the application of different media into education and the teaching styles different from traditional classroom education. The research on has been attracting more attention of experts, due to the different requirement from traditional classrooms, the lower demand of informal learning for learners, as well as its less limitation on learning. Informal learning starting from network learning gradually develops into mobile learning and now into U-Learning (ubiquitous learning).U-Learning means anyone, anywhere and anytime, has the chance of acquiring the learning information and support he needs and then enjoys the accomplishment of learning assignments. In the pervasive computing environment, people have no difficulty of regaling on any computing power and information resources. In the realm of education, it is a concrete manifestation that he could acquire learning resources from the mobile platform terminal. However, a huge shortcoming existing in the requirement of the resources we could witness based on the characteristics of u-learning is that amounts of noise returns and infects learners’learning when they acquire resources.Based on the much reference to the study on the mobile learning and u-learning, this thesis proposes a model of resource adaption; meanwhile, it takes into full consideration the influencing factors of u-learning, especially the influence of learners’styles and learning environment. Upon conditions of u-learning, the coordination between learners and the u-learning platform plays a significant role, more familiar with the platform learners are, the better the learning effect is. Therefore, learners’learning effect will be definitely improved if the u-learning platform could intelligently recommend learning resources.This thesis states the developing process of u-learning support theory, including its trends and needs, followed by self-adapting principles and the advantages of the introduction of self-adaption into u-learning. Based on the study on current u-learning platform and the analysis of learners’ expectation on u-learning platform, the thesis concludes the advantages and disadvantages of the current u-learning platform, which lead the author to design a u-learning resource self-adaption system.The self-adaption system of u-learning resource application is classified into individual learning system and group learning system, both of which integrate the pop technology. In the part of individual learning, it adopts the learning resource self-adaption model to facilitate learning; the system could recommend the optimum learning resources and styles based on learners’ learning style and learning environment. Besides, in this part, it introduces into the semantic knowledge search system which can identify natural language to improve the efficiency of returning the search results. The group learning part adapts the schematic resource co-construction learning model, thus the group learning achievement could be examined and become individual learning resources.
