Physical and health education is the new creation,combined with physical education andhealth education.It has brought new challenge and set the new request on PE educationthought, the education idea, the training goal, the education content and teaching methods,teaching evaluation, and many other aspects in primary and middle schools. It will appearmany kinds of problems on Physical health education during the implement process. It isbeneficial to seek solutions of the problems to improve the education quality,promote theall-round development of students, improve the health of the Chinese nation quality, improvethe whole crowd, family and social health level.This study takes the combination of health education theory and physical and healtheducation theory as a theoretical basis,uses the methods of literature, questionnaires,interviews, and mathematical analysis. To investigate the status of implementation of thesouthern Fujian region of junior high school’s health education, the study also conductedquestionnaire surveys for teachers and students in10standard middle schools including thedepartment of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou.By discuss the sport participition,sport skills, physical health,psycholigical health andsocial sutibility in the Junior Middle School in Southern Fujian Region. We can find that thefirst three parts are well done,while the last two parts are still need progress.Generallyspeaking,there are still many problems exist in the process. Firstly, some teachers andstudents do not well realize the courses of Physical and Health Education.Secondly, teachers’quality,teaching target and content, methods, process and organization, resourcesdevelopment does not meet the standard requirements on physical and healthcourses;thirdly,there is a gap between teachers and students physical exercise consciousness,habits and behavior status, teaching evaluation, physical and health courses opened situationand the importance of physical and health education on the leadership in the school.Severalreasons include: inadequate understanding, impact of examination-oriented education, inadequate system of teaching, students ’ personal factors, lack of teacher training, insufficienthours, inadequate investment and so on.For this reason this paper proposes: updating education concepts, implementation of the"health first"; integration of physical and health knowledge together; rich curriculum, enhancethe consciousness of curriculum; strengthening teachers ’ training to improve teachers ’professional qualities; depending on the surrounding colleges and universities as acooperative interaction platform.
