With the rapid development of economic globalization, political multiplicity, pluralismof ideas and network information as well as continuous progress of reform and openness inChina, people’s lifestyles, values and morals have changed. The traditional dominantideological education is facing a rigorous challenge in many aspects. Compared withdominant education method, recessive ideological education method is a new correspondingform, which has an important value in the political education in university. With thecharacteristics of latency, implied, permeability, indirectly, subjectivity, autonomy, openness,uniqueness, persistence, ect, recessive education method has highlighted its specialsuperiority in our real life. Although recessive education method cannot substitute fordominant education method, it has become a valuable complement to the dominant one. Thispaper puts emphasis on the research in the ideal value, individual value, social value, approvalvalue, emotional value and motivational value of the recessive education method. This paperattempts to explore the effective ways to realize the value of recessive education method inthe terms of the establishment of non-barrier emotional communication between teachers andstudents, the realization from individual self-education to peer education, the improvement ofpedagogue’s dominant education art and the optimization of recessive education methodcarrier through the research of the value.
