Grip force is a force when people griping. It is a important parameter, which can react the force of human upper limb. The study involved physiology, nosology, rehabilitation medicine, human engineering and Motion control to learn. As a parameter, the previous study of grip force is still in plain position, there is not deep research. Recently, with electronic hand dynamometer popularizing the accuracy of measure improves greatly. Combining with the computer technology, the measure data can be analyzes in deep-seated. According that, depending the theory of sports biomechanics and motion control, the paper studied the regulation and characteristics of grip force and made some useful conclusion.Above all, the paper made a review about the study of grip force, describing the field of research in detail. Then there are three parts, which is step by step and from simple to complicated.Deeply analyzing the grip data is the first part. In this part, there are four parameters which is maximum grip force, maximum growth rate of grip force, average growth rate of grip force and the time of grip growth. Showing the correlations among four parameters, the paper found that there was a highly significant correlation between maximum grip force and maximum growth rate of grip force. This suggests that the grip force is a kind of explosive force. Analyzing the curve of force increase and decline, the paper found that there are three parts in the increase curve, rapid increase curve slow increase curve and fluctuation increase curve. There are two parts in the decline curve, rapid decline curve and slow decline curve. The main reason of grip force decline is the fatigue of muscle.The second part introduces three kinds of grip, persistence grip, intermittent gripe and rhythmic grip, describing each of their characteristics. According the result of the comparison, there is a high significant difference between persistence grip force and rhythmic grip force. When people using rhythmic grip, the force is higher than the persistence one. The main reason is the motion of rhythmic grip might improve the nervous system of excitement. This indicates that the common test method of grip force can be made better greatly.In the last part, the test of grip force was made as a method. Depending this, the paper was examined the accuracy of repeating exerted force between low intensity and high intensity groups by kinaesthetic sensations, without visual and verbal guidance. The conclusion was the accuracy(mean) of repeating exerted force increase as the intensity of force increase, having significant difference between LIG and HIG, the difference comes from males in great degree. No significant difference among genders, hint and no hint in repeating actual force. When feedback comes from inside, such as kinesthetic without any external reference, the accuracy decline as the feedback number increasing, the difference comes from males in great degree.
