Objective:This study compares the changes in posture control of children with autism before and after intervention in moderate-high intensity running and jumping exercises, and explores the effect of moderate-high intensity running and jumping exercise on children with autism, and offer the theory support and practical guidance for the rehabilitation of posture control for children with autism.Methods:14 children with autism in Hangzhou were recruited, aged 6?7 years old and with a male to female ratio of 6:1.14 subjects were randomly divided into an exercise intervention grop and a control group, with 7 in each group. The exercise intervention grop was performed for 12 weeks,3 times a week,40 minutes of moderate-high intensity running and jumping, and the control group only needed to complete the daily rehabilitation course. The Wii Balance Board was used to collect the center of press data before and after the experiment, and the common indexes of posture control were calculated by MATlab. The differences between groups were analyzed by independent sample t-test and Mann-Whitney U test. The differences in the group was analyzed by Paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon signed-rank test.Results:1.eyes opened condition:In the exercise intervention grop the velocity of postural swaying in the medial-lateral(COP_V_ml)were signinficantly lower than those before the experiment(t=2.979,p=0.025)In the exercise intervention grop the velocity of postural swaying in the anterior-posterior(COP_V_ap)were signinficantly lower than those before the experiment(t=3.230,p=0.018).In the exercise intervention grop, the difference of the Pre-test and Post-test of the velocity of postural swaying in the anterior-posterior(COP_V_ap)was significantly lower than control group(t=2.462,p=0.030).2.eyes closed condition:In the exercise intervention grop the amplitude in medial-lateral(COP_RMS_ml)was significantly lower than before the experiment(t=3.764,p=0.009);3.standing on a foam with eyes opened condition:In the exercise intervention grop the velocity of swaying in the anterior-posterior(COP_V_ap)was significantly lower than before the experiment(t=4.096,p=0.006).In the exercise intervention grop, the difference of the Pre-test and Post-test of the velocity of postural swaying in the anterior-posterior(COP_V_ap)was significantly lower than control group(t=2.813,p=0.016)4.standing on a foam with eyes closed condition:In the exercise intervention grop the velocity of swaying in the medial-lateral(COP_V_ml)were significantly lower than those before the experiment(t=3.287,p=0.017).In the exercise intervention grop the velocity of swaying in the anterior-posterior(COP_V_ap)were significantly lower than those before the experiment(t=7.262,p=0.000).In the exercise intervention grop the amplitude in medial-lateral(COP_RMS_ml)and were significantly lower than those before the experiment(t=2.441,p=0.050).In the exercise intervention grop the amplitude in anterior-poterior(COP_RMS_ap)were significantly lower than those before the experiment(t=4.888,p=0.003).In the exercise intervention grop the sway area(COP_Area)were significantly lower than those before the experiment(t=5.106,p=0.002).In the exercise intervention grop, the difference of the Pre-test and Post-test of the velocity of postural swaying in the anterior-posterior(COP_V_ap)was significantly lower than control group(t=2.841,p=0.015);The difference of the Pre-test and Post-test of the amplitude of postural swaying in the medial-lateral(COP_RMS_ml)was significantly lower than control group(t=2.422,p=0.032).Conclusions:1.moderate-high intensity running and jumping exercise in 12 weeks can reduce the velocity of the postural swaying in anterior-posterior and medial-lateral of children with autism under the normal conditions;2.moderate-high intensity running and jumping exercise in 12 weeks can reduce the amplitude of postural swaying in the anterior-posterior and medial-lateral of children with autism under the visual interference conditions;3.moderate-high intensity running and jumping exercise in 12 weeks can reduce the velocity of the postural swaying in anterior-posterior of children with autism under the proprioceptive interference conditions;4.moderate-high intensity running and jumping exercise intervention in 12 weeks can reduce the amplitude, velocity and area of postural swaying of children with autism under visual and proprioceptive interference conditions;moderate-high intensity running and jumping exercises in 12 weeks can improve the posture control of children with autism.
