Olympic Education, which has great significance to the development of Olympic Movement, is the lifeline of Olympic Movement. The new trend of Olympic Education means some new focuses and changes appeared on organizational and implementary level of international Olympic Education after entering21st century. These new focuses and changes are the trend of Olympic Education in a certain period, which will lead the development of Olympic Education. Developing Olympic Education in China plays an improving role in healthy development of youth, sports development as well as harmonious development of society of our country. Analysis and summary of the new trend of Olympic Education can provide new thoughts and enrich the contents of the Olympic Education and then promote the development of Olympic Education of our country.The paper summarized the development of international Olympic Education and analyzed the new changes from the big issues happened in21st century by the methods of literature, comparision and case analysis. The new trend summarized in the paper are the contradiction of physical education and academic study of youth, technology in Olympic Education, re-recognition of youth’s position, building observatory and data base and the problem of youth ahtletes. These problems are the main focus of Olympic Education in this period.According to the summary of the new trend of Olympic Education in this period, the paper indicates:First, make relevant educational rules to lead youth’s interest in sports. Second, understand the needs of youth and communicate with them in different ways. Third, stimulate the initiatives of youth and encourage them to participate in the planning and implementation of activities. Fourth, realize the efficient resource sharing by building data base and observatory system. Fifth, pay attention to athletes’lives and make plans to help with their smooth role transition. In the future development of Olympic Education in our country, we should be sensitive to the new trends of international Olympic Education. By learning the experience and combing the actual situation of our country, we can make the education plan that can work for us. In the meantime, our country can keep making new measures, rather than just being a learner but a creator, to make our contributions to the development of Olympic Education. Then, we can use2014Nanjing Youth Olympic Games as a good opportunity to develop Olympic Education in our country and spread the Olympic Spirit by promting good experiences.
