| After large-scale development of Chinese higher education, our college teachersneed to be optimized urgently. In order to improve the quality of college teachers, it isimperative to strengthen effective college teachers research. Take Harbin NormalUniversity for example, we explore and analyze the characteristics and structure ofeffective college teachers in students’ perceptions by mixed-methodological analysis,which mainly include the following four parts:Chapter1: This part, which shows the background reason, purposes, significanceand innovation of the research, makes a thorough review of research about effectiveteachers at both home and abroad, defines the conceptions, and gives the method of theresearch.Chapter2: The course of the study. This study, which utilizes a sequential exploredesign and the visual model, uses the stratified purposive sampling, adoptsQuestionnaire and SPSS statistical software as study tools, the aim is to elaborate theprocess of data collection and data analysis, whichChapter3: The phenomenological analysis undertaken in this study sharpens, sortsand oranges the qualitative data collected. On this basis, we gain ten characteristics ofthe effective college teachers in students’ perceptions through Multiple Response:teaching and cultivating students, rigorous scholarship, professional,serious andresponsible, life-long learning, communication ability, care for students, expert,dedication, honest teaching. And then analysis the further cause.Chapter4: the principal component analysis of factor analysis is used to exploreand analyze the characteristics of effective college teachers in students’ perceptions,after that, we gain four structural elements: professional ethics, professional knowledge,professional skills and professional ideals of effective college teachers.In summary, this study systematically elaborates the process ofmixed-methodological analysis, obtains the characteristics and structure of effectivecollege teachers and then analyzes the cause, which enriches the Content and methodsof effective college teachers, and is helpful to guide first-line college teachers and theirwork,then speeds up the process of specialization of college teachers. |
