On The Effectiveness Of Ideological And Political Education Of Poor College Students

The group of poor students is a special one among college students. It is an important and urgent strategic task, which shoulders the critical responsibility of enhancing the comprehensive development of high-quality individuals, to strengthen and improve the ideological and political education. And that is also an important component and key link of the system of ideological and political education of college students. The international and domestic situations have undergone profound changes since reforms and opening. And consequently, the vision of poor students has been extending and their minds have become more active. Besides, the ideological and political education of poor students is facing a greater challenge.The theories of ideological and political education, psychology and sociology have been applied on this paper along with the methodology of literature analysis and questionnaire. This paper raises the issue of the lack of the effectiveness of the ideological and political education, starting with the poor students and the ideological and political education of poor students, analyzing the problems, propose solutions to enhancing effectiveness of the ideological and political education of poor students and solve problems. My study is divided into the following aspects:The first aspect is to understand the phenomenon of the existence of poor students, and make a reasonable interpretation of genesis, analyzing the mental status and characteristics of poor students, explain the importance of the connotation of the ideological and political education of poor students and the importance of enhancing the effectiveness of the ideological and political education of poor college students’And then, analyze the reasons of the lack of effectiveness of the ideological and political education of poor college students from the aspects of the ideological and political educators, the present status of the ideological and political education, the poor students themselves and so on. Finally, propose solutions to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education of poor college students according to the thought and characteristics of poor students.To conclude, it is of vital practical importance to excellently accomplish the ideological and political education of poor college students. Reasons should be thoroughly analyzed on the basis of completely understanding the thought and characteristics of poor college students. The ideological and political education of poor college students should apply the theories and methods of ideological and political education, associate with the Party’s education policies and promote on purpose the chief goals of ideological and political education of poor college students. And in this way, the task of enhancing the comprehensive development of the ideological and political education of poor college students will be achieved with the leading of education, the goal of cultivating and the nourishing of individual qualifications.
