High School Students Seeking Professional Psychological Help The Attitude Of The Study

Attitude refers to respond to a particular social object with relatively stable and evaluative internal tendency. Psychologists on present generally believe that When the evaluation starts, there are two attitudes in the main concept of the system, they are the explicit attitude and the implicit attitude.This phenomenon wide spreads in the stereotypes and prejudices to the particular social object. the implicit attitude affects the emotion inclination, cognition and behavior to certain object unconsciously, which produced in the experience of the past and the existing attitude of the past life. The explicit attitude is very vulnerable to the external environment, especially from the social desirability, but the implicit attitude will be free from it and will keep relatively stable. So when we are about to investigate the true attitude of the middle school students, we should measure both the explicit attitude and the implicit attitude, which can conduct a comprehensive study on the students’ attitude.The research employed the Single Category Implicit Association Test (SC-IAT) and a questionnaire investigation to assess implicit attitudes and explicit attitudes of the professional psychological help in senior middle school.This present research used a scale to research50students from Tianjin shuanggang middle school about the explicit attitude of professional psychological help, and employed the Single Category Implicit Association Test (SC-IAT) to assess the explicit attitude toward the Professional Psychological Help form the same participants, in order to explore both the structures of the explicit attitude and implicit attitude.The results as follows:(1)Senior students showed positive both on the implicit attitude and explicit attitude of the professional psychological help.(2)The high level is more positive than the low level toward the explicit attitude of the professional psychological help, and the high level is more positive than the low level toward the implicit attitude of the professional psychological help;(3)The explicit attitude and implicit attitude have different traits on the professional psychological help of the senior students.
